What you’ll find below is my hands on review of Vegas Casino Online. At first glance they look like a solid site since they accept US players, have software for both PCs and Macs and they’ve paid out $17 million in winnings since 2002, which to me represents honesty and fairness.
However, this is a European blackjack site, so I wanted to dive in further and take a look at their European blackjack game, software and to see whether or not blackjack players can take advantage of their promos. So take a minute to read my review and see what I found out.
Playing European Blackjack at Vegas Casino
Vegas Casino has an instant play version of their software, so I loaded up the browser version of European blackjack for this review.
Compared to other sites, the graphics for the game, as well as the entire site looks outdated. The graphics were also a little rough around the edges; they didn’t look as polished as other casinos, such as Bovada. It was hard to tell if the game was just too small for the window it sat in, or if the graphics were just that rough. That said, the game was still playable.
In regards to the game, the table minimum is $1 and the maximum is $500. I think this is definitely a reasonable range for the majority of European blackjack players. Despite it’s ugliness, the software is fast too. The cards are dealt quickly, only taking maybe 30-45 seconds to complete a hand. It’s definitely faster than playing in a brick and mortar casino. The chip dominations are 1, 5, 25, 100 and 500.
The basic rules and payouts for Vegas Casino’s European blackjack are:
- Blackjack pays 3:2
- Insurance pays 2:1
- Dealer has to stand on soft 17
- You can only double down on 9, 10 and 11
- Only one card is dealt on split aces
The payouts are inline with what you’ll find at other online casinos. And for a more in-depth overview of the rules and how to play, you can just click the help button and a new window will open.
Overall, I thought the game was solid. It just doesn’t look that good. What I did like about the instant play version is that it didn’t open in a completely new window. It opened in the same window with the other tabs (I was using Fire Fox). I also liked the navigation at the top. Using it you can quickly find and play other games at the casino.
Other Games at VegasCasinoOnline.eu
There are a number of other games to play at VegasCasinoOnline.eu. They’re all easily accessible from the top navigation (at least in the instant play version). Here is a brief overview on what’s available:
- Slots – 3 and 5 reel multi-line games, as well as progressives
- Blackjack – 5 variations including European, Perfect Pairs and Match Play
- Progressives – Jackpots ranging from a couple thousand dollars to over a million
- Video Poker – 14 variations, all with their own multi-hand variations (3, 10, 52)
There are over 80 different games that you can play at Vegas Casino. From what I can tell you can play most, if not all, all these games for free, too.
Vegas Casino Online Promotions
There are a few promotions running at Vegas Casino. I’ve included the details to the most consistent promos running below.
125% Welcome Bonus
The welcome bonus is interesting. You have two options:
- The first option is to receive a 125% bonus if you deposit any amount between $20 and $100.
- The second option is to deposit anywhere between $101 and $100k and receive $125 free on the first $100, and then an additional 25% on the remaining deposit. For example, if you deposited $500, you’d receive $125 for the first $100, and then 25% of the remaining $400 ($100) for a total of $225 in bonus money.
To cash out your bonus (winnings) you’ll need to wager it 30 or 50 times the deposit bonus. The rollover will depend on the game(s) you choose to play.
It’s important to note that European blackjack will NOT count towards the completion of your bonus, as well as any other blackjack game, craps, baccarat and a handful of other table games. For a complete list of approved games you’ll want to read the terms and conditions for the bonus at VegasCasinoOnline.eu.
Also important; players from the US or Canada will need to do twice the rollover requirements (60 or 100). This is a safety measure in place to fight bonus fraud.
Refer-a-Friend
Refer a friend to Vegas Casino, and if your friend deposits $50 (or more), you’ll receive $20 free. There is no limit to the number of friends you can send. You’ll need to rollover the bonus 40 times before you can withdraw any winnings.
Banking Options
Your deposit options include:
- Visa/MasterCard
- ClickandBuy
- Instadebit
- MST GiftCards
- NETeller
- Money Order
The minimum deposit is $1 to $20 depending on the option you use. There are no fees for making a deposit.
For withdrawals you can use:
- Check via Mail
- Check via Courier
- ACH / Direct Deposit
- Money Order
- NETeller
Keep in mind that the option(s) available to you will depend on where you live. The withdrawal options also have no fees.
Support
Support is available 24/7/365 via live chat, email or phone. I didn’t need to use the support for this review, but in my experience live chat is usually the fastest.
To contact them via email: [email protected]
To contact them via phone (US & Canada): 1-888 673-2523
Conclusion
Vegas Casino Online looks like a solid option for European blackjack. They accept US players, have several fee-free deposit and withdrawal options and their games work very well.
The only downsides for me was that the software looks outdated and their bonuses aren’t blackjack friendly. So if you want to take advantage of a deposit bonus, you might be better off checking out a different casino that does, such as Bovada. Other than that though, Vegas Casino Online is definitely a casino to have on your list for playing European blackjack.
